My mother and her novio Humberto circa 2007
Apparently a friend of my mother has been trying to reach me for a few months now without success. I finally got the news via email today that my mother passed away. She had lived in Puerto Peñasco since spring of 1999 and had been with her novio Humberto since 2000. The visit to Mexico late next year will be much more poignant than I had intended. I will be visiting her ashes instead of visiting her. I know she is resting in peace just as she was peaceful in life. Goodbye, Mom.
